    Company SERCOM works in the field of a satellite communication since 1993 and one of the first in Russia has started to provide clients with fly-away – SNG service. We possess all necessary licenses (57156, 61608), entitling on realization of a similar sort of activity. For more than 15 years history of development fly-away – SNG business, the company has passed a way from analog stations, up to modern digital mobile complexes.
    In a basis of our service lays:
     
    • Use of the advanced equipment, allowing to uplink in formats DVB-S and DVB-S2.
    • Full uplink and downlink backup.
    • Supplying stations by a full set of video and audio control equipment.
    • Aiming of the personnel at the maximal satisfaction of clients requirements.
    Performance of these rigid rules has allowed the company to gain trust such dear and exacting to service quality companies, as European Broadcast Union (EBU), Reuters, Arqiva (Great Britain), Overon (Spain), Aljazeera International, Sky News (Great Britain) and many other. We participated in such large international projects as a meeting of leaders G8 in S Petersburg, Parliamentary and Presidential elections in Russia, Champions League Final in Moscow, worked on many matches of Champions League and UEFA Cup, stages of World Biathlon Cup, stages of the Water Formula 1, etc. Engineers of the company have huge experience in organization of such translations, are technically competent, know English. Also SERCOM has a wide experience of cooperation with the Russian companies. In 2008 we carried out direct transmissions of Russia football Championship matches for Russian broadcasting company NTV Plus. Now we have 2 SNGs on Ford Transit Т300 basis. SNG RUS 004 main features
  • HD MPEG2 4:2:0 or 4:2:2 transmission.
  • Operating with several sources and consumers of signals by means of a switching matrix 8 Х 8.
  • Feeds from several external sources: from cameras and movable television stations via three external incoming lines (each line includes 1 channel of video and 4 channels of audio), from playout equipment and so on.
  • Correction of all incoming analog signals, both video, and audio, through video and sound amplifiers-distributors. Additional correction of audio signals can be carried out with an audio mixer.
  • Recording (Beta SP, DVC Pro) and playout (Beta SP, SX, Digital; DVC Pro, DV, DVCAM).
  • Mutual transformation of three basic standards PAL, SECAM and NTSC.
  • Control of video signals by means of oscilloscope and two 8” and one 14” monitors.
  • Control of audio signals by means of PPM meters and professional audio monitors.
  • SDI signal processing by means of SDI correctors-distributors.
  • Control incoming SDI signals (up to 2 lines simultaneously) by means of Snell&Wilcox IQDAVM-1A-D-M modules. (Accepts serial 4:2:2 SDI input. Output - 3 composite analog video and 4 embedded audio analog channels. Onscreen audio levels meter display.)

SNG RUS 004 uplink equipment

  • 1.5 m ERA offset dish; Antenna Registration: Eutelsat - RUS 004; Intelsat - RU0001K2, or Vertex 2.4m dish; Antenna Registration: Eutelsat - RUS 001; Intelsat – RUS-9730
  • 1+1 full redundant – standard configuration, but we can provide 2+1 mode (Transmitting two carriers simultaneously with one hot back up set).
  • Two 350W HPAs combined with phase combiner.
  • Tandberg E5782 HD MPEG2 4:2:0 - 4:2:2 coders with RAS and BISS encryption.
  • Modulators with DVB-S2 with 8 PSK option.
  • Independent power supply (2 Honda EU30S power suppliers)
  • Reception of television programs with use of professional IRD Tandberg Alteia and multi standard (SD, HD) Tandberg RX 1290 IRD.)
